2010 Robert Sinskey - Vins Gris of Pinot Noir Caneros

Pastel pink color touched by a bit of orange tempts the eye. Aromas of wild strawberry and lime mingle with just a hint of sweet herbs. Those berries burst on the palate joined by zesty but puckerless notes of cranberry and the part of a watermelon just beneath the pink fruit. There's a delicious savory note as well that reminds you that this is Pinot Noir. The wine is notably rich in the mouth, but with its ample cut it provides the sort of extreme refreshment that makes the urge to guzzle it all down tough to resist.

2010 Wölffer Esate Vineyard - Rose

The color is shiny light salmon with some gold. The nose is filled with fresh fruit of ripe lemons with a wonderful combination of gooseberry and strawberry. The mouth-feel is vibrant with very clean and crisp fruits of ripe apples with some orange, fine lime notes and great minerality. The finish is elegant yet playful and goes on for quite a long time. This is another classic Wolffer Rose, dry, light and very refreshing but rich enough to make it a great companion with food.
