Description:
This bottle comes from the historical cellars of the Col d’Orcia estate in Montalcino, where it has been preserved at a temperature between 59-64˚F. The original labelling has been scrupulously maintained.
Vintage Report:
A normal spring, hot summer with some rain and a temperate fall. Good maturation of the grapes. Regular harvest period.
Color:
Dark red, with surprising intensity, and brick red tints.
Bouquet:
Involving. The elegance of the maturity combines perfectly with the freshness of still present fruit.
Palate:
Confirming the sensations of the aroma. We are at the peak of evolution, with completely evolved tannins that are well-enveloped in a strong body. A persistent and elegant finish.
