This bottle comes from the historical cellars of the Col d’Orcia estate in Montalcino, where it has been preserved at a temperature between 59-64˚F. The original labelling has been scrupulously maintained.
Vintage Report:
A very cold winter, scarce rain and moderate temperature during spring and summer. Dry autumn. Late harvest with grapes of excellent quality
Color:
Deep dark red, with orange tints due to aging.
Bouquet:
Ethereal with clear chocolate notes.
Palate:
Surprising for its great freshness that promises further capacity for development and preservation. Of remarkable length with a pleasant finish of small berries.
