Description:
Solaia is a wine of massive proportion, dominated by rich black fruits, currants, minerals and a slight earthiness. Powerful yet fine grained tannins provide the framework for black fruit flavors and slight oakey hints. The palate is soft, well-balanced and lingering. This wine can be drunk immediately but has excellent aging potential. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 20% Sangiovese. |

| Fantastic aromas of crushed blackberry, licorice and strawberry. Full-bodied, with rich, velvety tannins and a long, fruity finish. Fruit-forward and exciting. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Best after 2008. 5,830 cases made. |
