Description:
Comes from a parcel of land identified by Alberto Antonini and Attilio Pagli after many years of investigations all over Valle de Uco. The parcel of land lies within an ancient riverbed in Vista Flores, and the rows were selected through terroir micro-zoning, at an altitude of 1250 meters.
This specific area of the vineyard, which is full of round gravel, has a consistent and complex distribution of clay around the gravel, allowing roots to feed in and therefore, go deeper and deeper in to the terroir. This very rare feature gives the wine its special mineral character. A unique bottle of wine, this has been aged for 36 months in French tight grain oak barrels. |
