Description:
Limoux lies in the south of France, near the abbey of St. Hilaire, where legend says monks were making sparkling Blanquette wines for more than 150 years before Dom Perignon made Champagne. For their part, the Antech family has been making Blanquette for 5 generations, and this hand-harvested blend of 90% Mauzac, a local variety, Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc is a triumph of experience. Fine bubbles and bright acidity lift mouth-filling flavors of apricot, pear and fig. Pairs well with turkey dinner or salmon. |
