The purchase of alcohol by persons under the age of 21 is prohibited by law. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine or spirits. By placing an order through our website, you are representing yourself to us as at least 21 years of age. We reserve the right to ask for proof of identity before processing an order. An adult signature with proof of age verification is required at time of delivery. Please be aware that someone over the age of 21 must be available to sign for the package. If no one is available at the time of delivery, the package will not be left. We cannot ship wine to PO Boxes or APO addresses.
Please note that some states have laws on the shipment of alcohol that prohibit us from shipping to addresses in those states. We cannot ship alcoholic beverages to: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia.
The buyer assumes title of the wines once purchased. By arranging for transportation of the wine, we are providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any wines into any state. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wine and other goods purchased and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of having the wine shipped to him or her. We do apologize for the inconvenience if your state laws prevent us from servicing your area. If we are unable to arrange for shipping to your state, you might wish to provide us with an alternate shipping address in a nearby state to enable you to make an online purchase. Weather Wine Shipping Advisory
Due to unpredictable cold winter weather conditions around the country, Winfield Flynn may temporarily suspend shipping of wines to certain destinations without notice and will resume shipping when temperatures allow.
Express Shipping Option
During periods of cold temperatures, as urgency of receipt of your order requires, we strongly recommend that you ship wines via 2 day or 1 day service.
We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes!
Please make sure there is a street address on all shipping destinations.
We process most orders within one business day. Orders placed early in the day can frequently be processed the same day, Monday-Friday, but this is not guaranteed. We can then usually ship your order within 1 to 3 business days. Depending on your location, the shipment will then take an additional 1-5 days in transit (FeDex Ground Service).
LOCAL (MID-TOWN MANHATTAN) DELIVERIES:
It is possible, though not guaranteed, that orders for delivery within our local delivery area (midtown Manhattan) can be scheduled the next business day. If you need your wine immediately, please call us and we will make every effort to accommodate you. Business days are Monday-Friday, not including holidays.
Our common carriers (UPS & FedEx) do not pick up or deliver on weekends or holidays, though our own local delivery trucks (midtown Manhattan) do make Saturday deliveries.
Faster service can be obtained by choosing overnight or 2nd day service, though there will still be one or more days needed for processing time.
Please note that most carriers, including UPS and FedEx do not deliver on weekends. Please keep this in mind when ordering, especially when ordering via Overnight or 2 Day Air Service.
Our web site is monitored Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time. It takes approximately 1 to 2 business days to process your order, and then it is usually shipped out within 1 to 2 business days after processing. If you have a need for delivery by a certain date or need rush service, please be sure to email or call us, so that we can endeavor to meet your deadline. We will make every effort to accommodate you. However, our carriers may not guarantee a specific date shipped to residences if shipped via ground service. Delivery schedules do not apply in the event of service interruptions caused by events beyond the control of winfieldflynn.com, including the failure of services provided by our carriers. Shipping to a business address can usually get your wine to you sooner. If you are within our local delivery area, we may be able to get your wine to you the next day either by our truck or via messenger service (at higher rates). This is not guaranteed, however. Call us if we need to expedite your order. We reserve the right to correct errors on pricing and to limit quantities.
Our Return Policy
At Winfield Flynn, your purchases are guaranteed. If you are not satisfied, please bring it to our attention and we will work with you to make the situation right. Winfield Flynn, stands behind our products and we are happy to issue a replacement or refund for any bad bottles you might receive WITHIN 30 DAYS of the date of purchase. Please note that before any action can be taken, however, any bottles suspected of flaws MUST BE RETURNED to Winfield Flynn for inspection and verification by a manager.
